How To Play Odin
Odin favors players who can maintain tempo and pressure their opponents. His deck relies on summoning minions, strengthening his minions, and pressing the advantage with overwhelming attacks.
Stand Behind Baldur
Baldur is unaffected by damage, making him the perfect target for For The All-Father! Grant Baldur Guard and suddenly your opponent is forced to attack a minion that can't be destroyed through damage.
Effectively, this makes you immune to enemy attacks for a turn which can give you vital breathing room in critical situations.
Make Them Think Twice
Gungnir increases Odin's power, meaning attacking Odin can come at great cost. Add a Rune of Power into the mix and Odin can become an intimidating defensive wall capable of destroying most attacking minions.
Rune of Power can be played at Fleet, meaning you can surprise your opponent at exactly the right moment.
Know What's Coming
Muninn lets you search your deck for exactly the card you need and place it on top. Normally, you'd have to wait until your next turn to use it. Heimdallr changes that.
With Heimdallr on the field, you can look at the top card of your deck and play it as though it were in your hand. If you choose to summon that card you can look at the top card of your deck again. Repeating this several times can create a devastating wave of attacks, but be wary, spending too much Devotion can leave you vulnerable.
See the Future
While having more Devotion is never bad, having the right cards when you need them can sometimes be more valuable. Odin's secondary God Feat allows you to see what your next hand will be and tweak what cards will be in it.
