How To Play Ra

Ra rewards players who can play their cards patiently and pull off powerful combos. His deck excels at controlling the board, protecting key minions, and creating explosive turns.

Clear the Chaff

Ra's secondary God Feat allows you to spend 2 Devotion to deal 1 damage to all enemy minions. This is useful for handling multiple 1 power minions like; Sacrificial Lamb, Pneuma, and Sacred Scarab.

Additionally, activating this feat can assist in negating the defensive benefits of War Banner or Bastet. Weakening those minions just enough to allow your minions to trade off into them easily.

Construct the Sun Temple

Use Sun Temple's Activated Feat to summon a Temple Guard while Bees?!? protects it.

This puts your opponent in a tricky situation: they either have to destroy Bees?!? outright to prevent it from activating the combo, or risk losing one or more minions trying to remove the Temple Guard.

As long as you have a Temple Guard remaining in your deck and control Bees?!?, Sun Temple can keep the combo going.

Choose Your Blessing

Solar Blessing can give a friendly minion Devout for a turn. When a minion or god with Devout deals damage, gain you Devotion equal to the Devout minion’s or god’s power.

Sekhmet is an excellent target for this spell. With her lower cost and ability to attack multiple times, you can gain a net 3 Devotion if you can pull off two attacks.

Generating devotion while you remove minions or deal damage to your opponent can allow you to create a massive advantage in your favor.

The Nuclear Option

So what if the Sun blessed itself? You get a 10 power minion with Devout that can generate a huge amount of Devotion.

Banks Overflow gives you the option to turn the healing into damage instead. Potentially creating a devastating 20-damage attack.

This is the nuclear option. An all in strategy that will give you a dominating advantage but can leave you vulnerable to counter attacks and will certainly make you the biggest threat.
