How To Play Zeus
Zeus rewards players who know when to unleash overwhelming power and when to conserve it. Strengthen your Minions, punish your opponents with lightning, and use your God Feats to find exactly what you need.
Double Your Power
Olympic Strength doubles a friendly minion's power for the turn. Use it on already-powerful minions like Enyo or Hercules to turn them into devastating attackers capable of dealing 10 damage.
But Olympic Strength isn't only about your own minions.
Aphrodite can temporarily take control of an enemy minion. If she steals a powerful minion like Sekhmet, Olympic Strength can double its power and allow Sekhmet to make multiple attacks before finishing with a devastating attack against the enemy God.
Call Down the Storm
One damage doesn't sound like much. Until it's exactly the damage you need.
Dark Skies deals 1 damage to an enemy god whenever you summon a spell, making Lightning Bolt! an obvious choice. However, Dark Skies works with all spells you summon. So, don't just think of it as "Lightning Bolt! support".
Divine Protection
Even the Gods need protection.
The Aegis prevents the first instance of damage dealt to your minions, then returns to your hand. This makes it useful for both defense and offense.
Play The Aegis along with a Guard minion such as Perseus or Divine Swan to make your defensive wall even more difficult to remove.
The Aegis can also protect your attacking minions from unexpected damage, allowing you to attack without worrying about your opponent's response.
Power at Your Fingertips
Zeus doesn't need to hope the right card is waiting in his hand.
His Heroic God Feat allows you to search your deck for a minion and add it to your hand, giving you access to the minion you need when you need it.
Need damage? Find Enyo or Hercules and pair them with Olympic Strength for a devastating attack. Need to remove a threat? Find Aphrodite and turn your opponent's own Minion against them.
When Zeus enters Deathstate, his God Feat becomes even more dangerous, allowing you to search your deck or discard pile for Lightning Bolt! and add it directly to your hand. Constantly threatening direct damage at a moments notice.
